Beschreibung:

The Museum der Moderne Salzburg on the Mönchsberg presents year-round exhibitions on classical modernism, art since the end of World War 2 and contemporary art.

There are no permanent exhibitions, the themes change about every 3 months. The current program can be found on the homepage www.museumdermoderne.at.

As the name suggests, the museum is located at the Mönchsberg.

You can combine a visit to the museum with a walk over the Mönchberg (via Toscanini Staircase or from Mülln) or comfortably take the MönchsbergAufzug up from Gstättengasse (https://www.salzburg-ag.at/bus-bahn/touristisches-angebot/moenchsbergauf...).

There is also a second location: the Rupertinum in the old town.
